Home > Water Damage Restoration
The first 48 hours decide how much you lose
Burst pipe, failed appliance, roof leak or flood — we aim to be with you the same or next working day to stop the damage spreading, dry the structure properly and put it back together.
The Problem
Surface-dry is not dry
Water travels. It runs along joists, soaks into floor voids, wicks up plasterboard and sits under screed long after the carpet feels fine underfoot. Left there, it turns into rot, blown plaster and a serious mould problem three months later.
That’s why we treat drying as the main event rather than the tidy-up: monitored, measured and signed off on readings, not on how a wall feels to the touch. Then we restore and redecorate, so there’s no gap between a drying company leaving and a decorator becoming available.
The three kinds of water damage we're called to
Escape of water — most of our call-outs
Burst or leaking pipework, failed washing machines and dishwashers, overflowing baths, and leaks from the flat above. Usually covered by buildings or contents insurance.
Water ingress from outside
Storm damage, roof and flashing failures, blocked gutters and driving rain through defective render. Often intermittent, which is why it gets missed until the ceiling stains.
Drainage and groundwater
Backflow from blocked drains, gully failures and surface water into basements or ground-floor commercial units. Needs sanitising as well as drying.
Get us out this week
Call during office hours for the fastest response, or email any time and we’ll pick it up first thing. Photos of the affected area help us arrive with the right kit.
What to do before we arrive
- Stop the water at the stopcock, or contain an external leak
- Switch off at the mains if water is near sockets or lights
- Photograph everything before you move or clean anything
- Lift what you can off wet floors and away from wet walls
